Jason Yoakam
President, Marketing Strategy
Jason founded Yoakam Communications Group in 2010. Jason brings more than 25 years of marketing, advertising, branding, and business consulting/business planning expertise to our clients. He has worked on both the agency side and client side of our industry. Through his years of experience in account management Jason offers knowledge and insight that helps guide our clients and their marketing teams to the most effective pathways to communicating their message and elevating their brand.
Ashley Barger
Social Media Specialist
Ashley provides our clients with social media strategy, content development, and analytics analysis. Additionally, she is skilled in strategic marketing initiatives, data interpretation, brand storytelling, and building relationships with her clients to help them tell their brand story. Prior to launching her own business, Do Some Good Marketing, she honed her skills in social media growth and engagement strategies, public relations, event management, and marketing over 15 years working at several area businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Paul Koch
Creative Director & Brand Strategist
Paul is a brand strategist, creative director, and writer with extensive experience at advertising agencies and design firms in Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. Paul’s focus is providing research, brand strategy, creative, copywriting/content, and PR for our clients. A veteran of more than 20 years in the wonderful world of advertising, he draws inspiration from the fact that there’s always something new in this business. He has been a volunteer with Michigan Marketing Minds and the Advertising Club of Toledo.
Leann Baker
Project Manager, Copywriter & Content Developer
With experience working for several newspapers and a nationally circulated trade magazine, And through her background on the editorial side as a reporter and associate editor for more than 10 years, Leann has considerable knowledge in writing, editing, and content development. Among her roles on the Yoakam Communications team is leading clients’ Google Advertising and Adwords campaigns and assisting clients with management of their website content using the WordPress admin platform(CMS).
Chris Schooler
Director of Videography & Production
Chris brings more than 10 years of video production and editing experience utilizing the latest HD and editing technology to our team. Chris leads on-location videography methods that include filming, lighting, sound, and video drones. He also handles our full production and video editing services including visual effects, motion tilting, compositing, and post-production sound sweetening. Chris’s goal is to see every video production developed into the high quality and engaging content that we know it can be for our clients.
